Rival Stainless Steel Fondue Pot Review

This review is the companion to my review of "125 Fondue Recipes." Basically, I used to "do fondue" all the time when I was first married -- the metal pot on a stand with a mini-sterno beneath to melt the cheese and chunks of bread on skewers for dipping. Only the heat was never sufficient to keep the cheese properly melted over time and it was always annoying to have to buy those mini-sternos. At last, a better mouse trap (ummm...fondue pot). Easy to use, contents stay hot and easy to clean up, as well. What more could you ask?

no fuss no muss - susan -
i love cheese fondue.
this electric fondu pot takes all the worry out of making and eating the fondue.
i only wish the cord was a little longer.

Used a friends and went out and bought one immediately. The magnet plug was a bit odd at first, but it is really smart. It's strong enough that it doesn't pull out, but breaks away if someone trips on it - prevents painful and messy spills!

The non-stick has been great, so far everything has wiped right out and requires just soap and a gentle sponge for cleaning, protecting the finish.

It serves its job well.... - Kim Gregory Bolognese - Beverly, Ma.
If you are looking for a fondue pot.... This is it. It does its job the way its suppose to.
